HOCKEY
A Junior Academy Centre is the second rung on the England
elite pathway. It is a training centre for U12 to U17 age groups, equivalent to
the old county squads. To be nominated to the Hertfordshire JAC for the
2010-2011, a player must have either been part of the Junior Regional
performance Centre (JRPC) programme during the summer and autumn or to have been
nominated from the either of the County’s JDCs.

| I have issued invitations to all JDC
nominees and to all JRPC returnees now. If you haven't received an email
please contact me. |
| Details on Shirt numbers can be found
on the squad pages and also in an email I will issue on Thursday Dec 15th
along with the details for the U13s to U17s on how to register using the new
EHB System. This email will also include the locations for each squad and
the Coaching group.it is also to be found in the JAC Player's document. |
| Please be
aware that between 08.00 and 9.00 on A JAC Sunday, I and the JAC
Coaching teams are travelling to the grounds where we are coaching
and will not be able to answer a call, by all means leave a message
but please be aware we may not have time to answer until the
following Monday. If your child is ill please can you call your
appropriate JAC Leader whose number is in the Players Document or at
the top of the Squad sheet on this site. |

Cancellation
In case of bad weather, please refer to this website and/or email that Single
System Administrator may send and/or please call Simon Holloway on mobile
number. Please bear in mind, pitch inspection on the day will only happen 30 minutes before
a training session and if Simon is in transit (normally between 8am and 8,30 am) he will not answer his mobile
until he reaches his destination.
All stamps used in correspondence to
the Single Systems Administrator and Director of Coaching are recycled
through Oxfam thus providing revenue to the charity
